Time really started to fly after we found out Baby K was a boy!! The rest of my second trimester went by pretty fast! I still felt awesome, and was so eager to get started on the nursery and buy lots of fun boy stuff!! I have to admit... the thought of a boy scared me at first, but now I can't imagine anything different! We spent weeks 16 - 27 doing all kinds of fun things! We painted the nursery, bought and painted a crib, bought a recliner/glider for the nursery, and of course started picking up little boy clothes!! Even though there is not quite as much cute boy stuff out there... I have managed to find some really cute little things!
I have to give Jared a BIG shout out here. He has been SO helpful and supportive with getting the nursery together! I know it isn't very important to him, but the realizes how important it is to me for Riggs to have a special place to call home!
We had two more appointments during this time span. Our 20 week appointment was on April 17! We had our anatomy ultrasound and were very happy to see that everything looked normal. I also got to get one more good look at his "little boy parts" just for reassurance! Dr. Griggs also changed our due date once more... August 31, 2012! He promised this would be the last change!! Our 24 week appointment was also fairly short and to the point! It was on May 15, and we simply went and just chatted with Dr. Griggs. He gave us a little bit of information about how the next few months would go! I was going to have one more 4 week appointment and then move on to two week appointments! I couldn't believe we were already getting that close! I scheduled my next appointment... this was going to be the Glucose appointment!! I picked the Orange colored drink, on advice from the lady at the desk, and brought it home to sit in our fridge until it was time for my test!
I am pretty much going to sum up the rest of the Second Trimester in pictures! I finally started taking the traditional "belly pictures", and am very glad I did!!

All of the pictures above our from our Nursery painting venture and the recliner we got! We... actually Jared has taught me a thing or two about a deal! We got his crib, glider/recliner, and dresser all off of Craigslist! We added paint and knobs to the crib (which was actually brand new), and a slipcover to the recliner!
This is just a snapshot of the clothes that Jared's cousin Sara so graciously gave us! She has a sweet little boy Cade that outgrew all of these clothes already!! They also gave us some other good baby stuff! Very thankful to them!!
