Graduation and Vegas!!!

I graduated (FINALLY) in May 2011 with my Au.D. (Doctor of Audiology) degree! I, actually Jared and I, could not have been more relieved to finish school and get a REAL "big girl" job. I could not have gotten through those 4 years without the support of Jared, our families, and my classmates! It was a LOOOOONG ride, but I was very blessed to make it through it!! Here are some pictures from our White Coat Ceremony and Graduation!

Not only did I get to experience the joy of graduating, and knowing I was NOT going back to school ever again..... I also took a 3 week vacation before starting my job! I spent the first week at the beach with my family and wrapped up the vacation with one of my best friends weddings!!
The in between week was spent in good ole Las Vegas, Nevada!!! These plans started years before when one of my classmates and I decided that when we graduated we were going to celebrate... and celebrate BIG! Sandy, Grant, myself and Jared spent a fabulous week in Las Vegas! While we were out there we also went to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. We also saw "O", Peep Show, and the Blue Man Group!! The biggest highlight of my trip was my sick obsession with "The Price is Right" slot machine in the Venetian... you would have thought I was winning millions if I won $20!  It was such a fun week, and one I won't soon forget!

Jared and I were so blessed to meet Sandy and Grant during my time in graduate school, and have made a lifelong friends who will also have a little boy in August ... but I'll get to that later!! The only thing we missed on this trip was Jackie and Garrett!!! Hopefully we can all vacation together soon!!!
