Catching up with the Kellys: Showering Riggs: BFF Shower

Shower day #2 was on Sunday, and the shower was at Jahn's (Julie's moms) house! For those of you who have never been to Jahn's house.. it looks like it is always photo ready for a magazine shoot! She has a beautiful home and I'm so thankful to her for having the shower at her house. The shower was AMAZING! I could not have asked for a more fun afternoon! For this shower people were asked to bring a book for Riggs in place of a card! He now has a stocked library! My friend Jessica is a graphic designer and she did the invitations... they were SO CUTE! In the invitation she included a sticker that everyone placed on their books so Riggs would know who gave him each book! After we ate some of my favorite foods... grilled cheese, cheez-its, brownies, and ice cream sundaes... we played some games!! I actually won two of them... we had a word scramble and a game in which we had to match candy names to baby related things (it was HARD!). We then opened gifts and had our normal photo shoots we have anytime we all get together!! We got SO many of our big items at this shower!! Riggs now has his pack and play, swing, bouncy seat, high chair and diaper genie! Not to mention so many other cute clothes and other baby things! Riggs has no idea how many "aunts" and "great aunts" he is going to have that care for him! I am SO SO SO lucky to have such fabulous best friends, and ones that have such fabulous mommas too!!
